Money and Payment

The national Turkish currency is lira (TRY according to the international classification).

UnionPay cards (issued by the banks not under sanctions) as well as any other bank cards issued in the CIS, EU and other countries are accepted in Turkey. Visa, MasterCard and MIR cards issued in the Russian Federation are not accepted.

Travel

We recommend that you arrive at the hotel no later than at 14:00 on October 5 and check out on October 7, Sunday the latest. It is more convenient to choose the new Arnavutköy Airport in the European part of Istanbul.

Transfer and Moving Around the City

Uber and YandexTaxi operate in Istanbul, but many users face problems trying to get a taxi: the drivers tend to decline orders, the wait can be longer than usual.

So, if there are problems, our best advice is to use the concierge service of hotels, restaurants or book a transfer for the dates of your stay from the official concierge service of the event.

Entry Regulations

To Travel across Turkey a Russian citizen (including children, irrespective of their age) must have a valid foreign travel passport) which is to remain valid for at least 4 months after the entrance date.

Russian citizens do not need a visa to enter Turkey and are allowed to stay here for 60 days.
